TUBC delivers most of its curriculum on an Apple iPad as part of your new student kit; yours to keep. Your education is also supported through the use of videos, demonstrations, guest artists, visual/practical presentations, lectures and hands-on experience.

  • Initial Classroom “Essentials” Training

    Classroom instruction covering general theory and practical application.

  • Hair Styling/Hair Dressing

    Primarily hands-on instruction that teaches the core “Tricoci Cuts” and a broad variety of styling techniques.

  • Shop Management

    Sanitation and Interpersonal Relations

  • Practical Chemical Application

    Primarily hands-on instruction addressing all aspects of coloring and other chemical applications.

  • Esthetics

    “Base” coverage of esthetics theory, application, technique and trends.

  • Nail Technology

    ”Base” coverage of nail technology theory, application, technique and trends.

ADMISSIONS AND FINANCIAL AID

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years of age by the first day of class (for teacher programs, must be 18).
  • Applicants must hold a high school diploma, high school transcripts of completion, or a GED certificate.
  • For teacher programs: applicants must have a current icense as a cosmetologist, esthetician, or nail technician.
