The September cosmetology and the February Esthetics classes graduated in July at the Tricoci University Glendale Heights campus. It was so great to have family and friends come to the campus, attend the ceremony and celebrate students’ accomplishments!
The intimate ceremony started at 4:30 p.m. With graduation music playing in the background, my classmates and I walked out with our teachers. We sat before the audience of attendees in the campus’ front clinic area, which was a great set up because we could look out and see all our families and their proud faces.
Ms. Tara, the Glendale Heights general manager, began the ceremony with a heartfelt poem and speech to thank us for our hard work over the months. Our teachers then took the stage and said the kindest words about how much they loved teaching us.
One by one, Ms. Tara then called us up to hand out diplomas and take pictures. After we all took to the stage, one of my classmates and I said some goodbye words to our classmates. After the ceremony, we had some snacks to enjoy and a slide show of our time at Tricoci University to show our family and friends.
Overall, the ceremony was great – all of the graduates loved getting a chance to bid one another farewell and be recognized for our hard work. I think I speak for the group when I say that we’ll all miss TUBC, but are so ready to start our careers in the beauty industry. Tricoci has prepared us well and given us an amazing education. Can’t wait to show it off!
