Opened in summer 2006, the Bridgeview beauty school is located just outside of Chicago’s southwest side at 7350 West 87th Street in Bridgeview, IL and currently offers programs in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Barbering, and Teacher Training.

This 8,300 square foot facility includes a clinic area, theory room, dispensary, library, wet room, lounges, and classrooms.

Tricoci University student salons are a great way to experience high-level salon and spa services at very modest prices. Student salon guests can walk-in or call in advance for an appointment to enjoy these services.

Redefine the Beauty Industry

The most current, technically precise and versatile education available in the cosmetology training field today. Learn to become a Hairdresser, Hair Colorist, Cosmetologist, Stylist, Nail Technician, Make-up Artist, or Esthetician.

  • Full Time – (37.5 Hours/Week) 10-12 Months
  • Part Time – (22.5 Hours/Week) 17-20 Months

The esthetics program at the Bridgeview campus is a top-notch program to pursue studies in esthetics. Our curriculum focuses on creating a secure foundation of the scientific building blocks for skin: its function, properties and needs. Learn to become a Facialist, Waxing Specialist, Body Treatment Specialist, Medi-Spa Esthetician, or Make-up Artist.

  • Full Time – (37.5 Hours/Week) 5-6 Months
  • Part Time – (22.5 Hours/Week) 9 Months

Our barber curriculum combines artistry, science and business savvy so you can learn what it takes to cut, color, groom, and style hair for men as a Professional Men’s Stylist, Master Barber, or Barbershop Owner or Manager.

  • Full Time – (37.5 Hours/Week) 10-12 Months
  • Part Time – (22.5 Hours/Week) 17-20 Months

Federal student aid programs (i.e. Title IV) are available for students who qualify. A TUBC Financial Aid Coordinator can assist students with these programs and other financial assistance options to make Tricoci University as affordable as possible.

When Megan Rapinoe, the co-captain of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, played in Bridgeview, IL, her colorful hairstyle made headlines. More recently, she took her style off the field as a fashion designer focused on inclusivity and gender neutrality.

The strong Middle Eastern culture in Bridgeview has prompted many specialty fashion and beauty shops to open up within the local community.

At the Bridgeview Parks district, special FX makeup artists were highlighted at the Unknown World of Paranormal Convention where they taught workshops on how to create the ghoulish looks of ghosts and zombies.

About Bridgeview Beauty School

There are four programs available at the Bridgeview campus. You can study cosmetology, esthetics and barbering. The cosmetology and esthetics courses are available for both full-time and part-time learning, while the barbering and teacher training courses are only available for part-time learning.

The full-time Bridgeview courses, which are available for cosmetology and esthetics, run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Part-time classes are available for day courses, which run 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., or night courses, which run 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; the cosmetology has 1,500 to 1,550 hours of training and offer both part-time and full time,  esthetics courses have 750 hours and also offer both, while the barber program offers a night schedule.

On the first day of class, you’ll receive a Student Kit, which includes professional tools you’ll need to complete your education. Curriculum is now available on iPads, which makes it more eco-friendly and simpler for students to learn. Talk to a Tricoci University team member if you want to learn more about the Student Kits.
