In 2004, industry legend Mario Tricoci opened the doors of our CNW campus with the goal of developing the very best and brightest beauty professionals. Our Chicagoland campuses are conveniently located throughout the city to celebrate the diversity of our hometown and our student body. The inclusive curriculum is designed to help you build your skills and education with demonstrations, hands-on training and workshops to meet our students' needs and learning styles. Our largest campus, Bridgeview has ample parking, easy access to transit and over 14,000 square feet of classrooms, lounges and clinics across the two buildings. You'll find dedicated instructors and a community of approximately 300 learners who love to have fun with barber battles, after-class snacks and opportunities to give back to the community!

Norwood Park is Tricoci’s flagship campus – where it all began! We offer full and part-time options and you’ll find 2 student parking lots nearby, as well as easy access to transit. In 2023, the spa was expanded to offer more space for estheticians to learn and perfect their craft.

Just two miles south of I-90, the Elgin campus caters to a dedicated customer base that keeps the salon floor vibrant. We offer full and part-time options and we’ve got plenty of parking nearby. A brand new spacious spa was added in 2023 to level up the learning experience.

TUBC’s Libertyville campus is located just off Route 176 near Liberty Lake. It offers plenty of nearby parking, a bustling salon, and an expanded spa completed in 2021. Full and part time options are available.

Total hours required before receiving a license can vary by program. For a cosmetology license you will need 1,500 hours for Illinois and Indiana and 1,550 hours for Wisconsin. Your advisor will work with you to understand hours needed for your program and help create a schedule that works for you.
The cost of cosmetology school varies depending on the program you choose and the financial aid you may qualify for. Any prior education or training that is eligible to transfer could also be a factor. To get the best estimate of your cost to attend school, set up some time to talk with a financial aid advisor at the school you're planning to attend.
