On Saturday, June 25, 14 Tricoci University students had the opportunity to show off their amazing talents by doing braid-inspired up-dos and makeup for the FUZE IT! Fashion Show Chicago 2.0.
This wasn’t just any fashion show, though. This is a fashion show that needed some help! Two days before the show, FUZE IT! called on Tricoci University in desperate help: their original makeup artists for the show had to cancel last minute. Always enthusiastic and willing to work, our students jumped in to help.
FUZE IT! is a special event company that travels around the country showcasing aspiring models’ and artists’ talents. Let’s not forget some real talent, though: the 14 Tricoci University students backstage who completed looks for 45 models in less than 90 minutes (check out the backstage pics on Facebook)! Because the backstage area was so dimly lit, one student needed to use her camera phone to get enough light on her model’s face doing makeup. If that isn’t talent, I don’t know what is!
