Joy McClure

Joy McClure has spent 30 years in higher education helping students find their footing, from large research universities to innovative trade schools across the Midwest. As Chief Admissions Officer at Tricoci University, she oversees admissions and marketing across 15 campuses in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, making her one of the most experienced admissions leaders in career education today.

A graduate of Michigan State University and a recognized voice on Gen Z learners — a cohort she calls the "Tool Belt Generation" — Joy has built a career around understanding what today's students actually need, not just what institutions expect them to want. She believes education is the great equalizer and that belief drives everything from how Tricoci recruits students to how it supports them once they're in the door.

In April 2026, Joy was honored with the Excellence in Education Award at the Education 2.0 Conference, a summit that brings together educators, policymakers, and innovators to advance purpose-driven learning globally.
