St. Viator held their first annual “Rock the Lot” event and Tricoci University was lucky enough to have taken part in it by offering basic manicures and hand massages. We had a wide range of guests including children, women and even the MC of the event came by to get a manicure and hand massage. There was plenty to see and do from live karaoke to mini golf and Tricoci University fit right in with the eclectic assortment of vendors and activities.
Everyone seemed eager to drop by and get manicures and learn more about our school and services available. They were especially excited when they learned our “Rock the Lot” services were free of charge. Many people commented on how positive our attitudes were and how enthusiastic we seemed about our services, school and futures. We even had a few people tell us they’d see us the following Tuesday night for hair services; including peekaboo’s, haircuts, and highlights. We were also giving out coupons good for 50% off all services – people were already amazed by our already low prices and thought with the coupon, our services would be a steal!
Overall, we had a good time at St. Viator’s Rock the Lot and are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the event. We would like to give a special thank you to Lisa Jones who went above and beyond to help us prepare and execute another successful Tricoci University’s Student Council event. We look forward to working with her again September 17th for the Astellas Oncology Chicago Lung Run, where we’ll offer the same services to walkers, runners, and their supporters.
