In a bold new move, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is now accepting cosmetology transfer credits from accredited beauty schools at two campuses. That means individuals who previously attended different cosmetology courses can transfer up to 400 hours when they start. What Is an Accredited Beauty School?

In the United States, accrediting boards, which have recognition from the United States Department of Education, oversee their accredited schools. It sets education and performance standards, ensuring that schools adhere to those standards. Tricoci University is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences, Inc., and the school will only accept credits from another beauty school accredited by NACCAS. The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for postsecondary schools and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, and massage therapy.

The Janesville campus offers a 1550-hour program either full-time or part-time, and the Normal campus offers a 1500-hour program full-time.
