Selection Criteria

Applicant must be currently enrolled in or been accepted for one of the Tricoci University 2024/2025 program starts (December 2024-December 2025). Applicant must start school by the end of December 2025.

Applicant high school graduation date must be within December 2024 -November 2025.

Applicant must complete all application requirements and submit their application on or before March 31, 2025.

*Please note - failure to meet all application requirements will result in disqualification.

Application Requirements

Please use the following as a guide for your application.

Applicants must answer the following question in 500 words or less: “As a professional in the beauty industry, how will you break the stigma of what society defines as beautiful?”
Applicants must include a visual representation of the applicants artistic and/or creative expression.
Applicants must include a 4–5-minute video answering the following:
- Applicant's name, High School name, Tricoci Campus, and program of acceptance i.e., cosmetology, barber, esthetics, or nail technology
- Who or what has inspired you to pursue a career in the beauty industry?
- What are your short-term and/ or long-term career goals?
- How will receiving this scholarship benefit you?
Applicants should read and sign the final page of the application.

All application materials should be submitted no later than 11:59pm CT March 31, 2025. Eligibility and award is conditional based on high school graduation and program acceptance status.

Applicants must include a visual representation of the applicants artistic and/or creative expression with brief description. Applicants can interpret this requirement as they choose. Some examples include, but are not limited to:

Artwork done by the applicant
Pictures of makeup, nails and/or hair done by the applicant
A video of musical or spoken expression, such as poetry, music, dance, etc. done by the applicant
