EDUCATION

  • How will my attendance percentage be impacted during the campus closure?
All student scheduled hours have been put on pause and will not be affected until distance learning education starts.
  • Will I be withdrawn if I’m out more than 14 days per the campus policy?
Students are not being counted as absent right now. Starting March 30th, student schedules will re-start and the 14-day policy will be reinstated.
  • How will my enrollment agreement change?
Tricoci University will make the appropriate adjustments to your enrollment agreement to exclude the days that the campus was shut down. With these adjustments, all students should remain on track to meet the requirements of the amended enrollment contract.
  • Will my graduation change?
It is likely that dates will need to be adjusted through an amendment based on the temporary closure. It is our goal to keep your education timeline on target with as few interruptions as possible.

DISTANCE LEARNING

  • Will I incur additional fees for distance learning?
No. There are no additional institutional charges with distance education.

FINANCIAL AID & STUDENT PAYMENTS

  • How will my VA benefits be impacted?
On 13 March 2020, the VA asked all schools to temporarily refrain from making any adjustments to enrollment certifications due to COVID-19. Housing allowances/Stipends will not be interrupted.
  • How will my Financial Aid be affected?
Financial Aid (both grants and loans) paid upon actual hours reached will remain on your student account, no further aid will be paid until the student resumes attendance and reaches the required hours for Title IV payment. As of March 13, 2020, all Federal loans owned by the U.S. Department of Education (ED) will have interest waived for 60 days, automatically. Interest will continue to accrue on private loans.
