NIVINE MEGAHED, PHD – PRESIDENT, NATIONAL-LOUIS UNIVERSITY

Nivine Megahed, PHD is a member of the Board of Managers of Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. She is valued for her long tenure in higher education, as well as the ability to steer large organizations to achieve their visions. Nivine is currently the President of National-Louis University.

Nivine joined National-Louis University as President in 2010 with 20 years of experience in higher education. Prior to joining National-Louis, she served as President of Kendall College, which offers programs in the fields of Business, Culinary, Hospitality, Education and Psychology. Before Kendall College, Nivine was the Group Vice President of Kaplan Higher Education, where she was responsible for 26 campuses. She previously held a similar position with Education Management Corporation, overseeing 12 campuses.

In other positions, Nivine has served as the Campus Dean and Director of Clinical Psychology Programs at the American School of Professional Psychology in Honolulu; President and co-founder of IMPAC University in Punta Gorda, Florida and President of the University of Sarasota (now Argosy University/Sarasota and Tampa).

Nivine graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Psychology from State University of New York and received both her master’s and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Rochester.
