Mario Tricoci, and founder of Tricoci University of Beauty Culture, a beauty school with programs in cosmetology, esthetics, barbering, and nail technology, lived in Italy until he was 17, but when he returns to Europe to visit, and he elevates trendy looks by replicating them with clothes and accessories from high-end designers.
“We are in black and white at work. We don’t try to compete with our guests with clothes. We dress very simple. Either black or white or black and white. No gray. Not that we look alike because in black and white you can be quite individual. There are more black and white clothes than anything else. We are in the fashion industry. We have to be not only inspired but we have to inspire people. So I want to make sure that I am presentable. I use Intimissimi T-shirts, which is an Italian brand, and my shirts change from brand to brand whether it’s a Prada or an Alexander McQueen, and a custom made belt that my son had made for me. It’s a belt with the company logo on it.” – says Mario.
