This 9,600-square-foot salon, spa and learning facility located at 751 East Park Avenue in Libertyville, IL includes an upscale clinic area, theory room, barbershop, dispensary, library, wet room, lounges and classrooms.

Conveniently located off Route 176 near Liberty Lake, our beauty school has programs in Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, and Teacher Training and can be easily reached from the surrounding suburbs of Gurnee, Lake Forest, Mundelein, Vernon Hills and Waukegan by taking the Tri-State Tollway (Interstate 294) or Route 176.

Beauty History of Libertyville, IL

Libertyville-based company AmazingCosmetics started when its two founders were hunting for the perfect concealer. Their product, Amazing Concealer, has achieved cult status and is highly recommended by professional makeup artists, dermatologists and celebrities.

As the lead female in the hit musical Hamilton, Phillipa Soo has upgraded her style from the “funky highlights” she had while attending middle school in Libertyville. Her beauty routine has become a part of her acting. “You put on your character when you put on your makeup,” she said.

Part-Time Day Classes

This 3 day per week schedule allows our students to continue to “earn while they learn” to be a teacher. Learn to become a Cosmetology Teacher, Cosmetology Teacher with Experience*, or Esthetics Teacher.

Financial Assistance

Federal student aid programs (i.e. Title IV) are available for students who qualify. A TUBC Financial Aid Coordinator can assist students with these programs and other financial assistance options to make Tricoci University as affordable as possible.
